Note de programme:
« Les friches sont l’un des derniers lieux de biodiversité et d’invention dans notre monde-anthropocène. Écouter les milieux sonores des friches est une expérience en soi : écouter le bruissement du vent dans les graminées, entrecoupé par l’activité humaine au loin, écouter les cymbalisations de certains arthropodes, le chant des oiseaux, merles, pics… De ces friches j’ai rapporté le matériau premier de la pièce sous forme d’enregistrements de terrains. Ceux-ci, mise en boucles à des temporalités bousculées et aléatoires, puis transformés, à peine reconnaissables, construisent de nouvelles hybridations avec lesquelles l’instrumentiste peut jouer, en interaction. « Les Possibilités des friches » veut s’éloigner des représentations naturalistes du vivant pour fabriquer un milieu sonore hétéroclite et en mouvement dont le musicien deviendrait alors le jardinier. »

Statement:
« Wastelands are one of the last places of biodiversity and invention in our world-anthropocene. Listening to the sound environments of wastelands is an experience in itself: listening to the rustling of the wind in the grasses, interspersed with human activity in the distance, listening to the cymbalisations of certain arthropods, the song of birds, blackbirds, woodpeckers… From these wastelands I brought back the primary material of the piece in the form of field recordings. These, looped at random and jostled temporalities, then transformed, hardly recognizable, build new hybridizations with which the instrumentalist can play, in interaction. « Les Possibilités des friches » wants to move away from the naturalistic representations of the living to make a heterogeneous and moving sound environment of which the musician would then become the gardener. »
